International Simulation Driven Design Challenge for Students – Winners of eBook Readers

On behalf of Altair Engineering we thank all participants of the “International Simulation Driven Design Challenge for students” for their contributions.

After evaluating all submitted entries with respect to the judging criteria (as described in the Challenge Rules) we came to the conclusion that we are not going to nominate an overall winner of the challenge this time.

Nevertheless, we do appreciate the work and interest participants have shown. We therefore decided to award an eBook reader to the following students (teams):

  • Case Study on Analysis of an ATV Rollcage and Design Modification” by Ashu Airan and Anshuman Awadhesh Kumar / India
  • Improvement of Vehicle Bumper Based on Finite Element Simulation” by Li Bin / China
  • Development of of CFRP-AL hybrid rims for a Formula Student Race Car: Part 1 Conception” by Kevin Stenzenberger / Germany

We sincerely hope that your participation in the contest helped you to “re-think” and “question” given designs and to enhance your CAE knowledge.

All the best for your studies
