On October 10th 2016, Altair and the Leibniz Rechenzentrum in Garching offered a comprehensive and informative introduction to the Altair software suites and their application in the academic field. Four external speakers presented their research and thesis results, employing topology optimization, genetic algorithms, FEM, CFD and other CAE applications.

We would like to say a huge thank you to all the speakers, who gave an insight on their research and usage of Altair’s products. And thanks also to all the participants and the LRZ for making the Techday a successful event.
