We are proud to have been sponsor and supporter of the first VDI Verein Deutscher Ingenieure e.V.  – #Mobility goes #Additive Student Competition.
As a Sponsor we not only participated as organizers and with Michael Wawrzinek as a jury member but also with a recruiting booth, which offered great opportunities for Claudia Zeh to talk about #Altair as a workplace.
We are happy that the students were able to use the Simulation-Driven Design approach. It surely helped in their task to create a new seat concept within only 2 days.

During two days time, the participating students had to find a new and innovative seat concept. Nine student teams from German and Austrian Universities participated in this event.
Four of the teams decided during the weekend to use either SimSolid or Inspire to optimize and validate their ideas. It was great to see the teams going from installation to first results in SimSolid within a few minutes time.
