AOC2022 facilitates competency building to bridge the gap between industry requirements and the technical education system by providing solutions that make technical institutes more aligned with industry needs and graduate students industry-ready. We facilitate all Academic initiatives to Students, Educators, Faculties, Academic institutions, and Researchers via Altair university. We offer programs to foster and promote the engineering discipline by providing real-world experience and skills.

About Contest

Altair India announces the 11th edition of its popular Altair Optimization Contest. This FREE* Contest program is meant for individual students (UG / PG / Ph.D.) and faculty of all branches of Engineering from AICTE/UGC/Autonomous approved colleges within India. This year the contest will cater to different engineering disciplines as listed below. Altair Student-Edition license will be used for the contest.

Contest Details

There are 4 Problem areas called Domain. Students/Faculty can participate in any domain of their choice irrespective of their branch of engineering specialization. Students/Faculty can participate in multiple domains. There will be separate prizes for each domain.

All problems pertaining to each Domain are mandatory.

Student Contest Awards:

1st prize: INR 15,000/- worth Voucher + Certificate of Recognition.
2nd prize: INR 10,000/- worth Voucher + Certificate of Recognition.
3rd prize: INR 5,000/- worth Voucher + Certification of Recognition

All complete submissions submitted on or before the due date will get a Certificate of Participation.

Faculty Contest Awards

1st prize: INR 25,000/- worth Voucher + Certificate of Recognition
2nd prize: INR 15,000/- worth Voucher + Certificate of Recognition

General Instructions:

• This competition is only for Students and Faculties who are still part of the college. Not applicable to passed out students who have completed courses or Faculties who are not part of Academic Institution.
• Valid College ID proof with clear validity is a must for final verification (letter from HOD or principal duly signed and sealed will also be good for ID verification)
• Students need to register at Altair University and Apply for Academic Version Software.

• Altair will grant Free access to relevant tools with a License validity of 1 Year. These licenses should not be used for any commercial activity or revenue generation. Licenses granted are intended only for AOC completion / Self Learning / Non-Commercial Purpose only.
• Students can learn/get certified in the relevant tool via Free Learning/Certification courses available at Altair University. We have allocated marks for the completion of Certification courses. Student/Faculty need to get certified on the respective tools (Altair Software Column) which are used in respective domain/problem Type. Certification Course completion for each of the relevant software will lead to full marks.

• We have allocated marks for the Completion of the Profile in the Industry outreach Portal. We invite all the candidates who complete the certification course. The certified student will be listed in Industry Outreach Portal - Student Profile is shared to Indian Altair Customers for Internship and Recruitment Opportunity. These initiatives will help your students in Competency building, a Stronger bio profile that helps in Jobs and Internships.
• Completion of Certification course and Profile update in Industry outreach portal is not mandatory for Faculties.
• Every Week Friday 3 to 4 PM. from March 04, 2022,> we will have Teams meeting to resolve any queries during the competition.
