The presentation took place during seminar class at Wroclaw University of Technology, during which students from Individual Learning Programme (students with highest grades from Mechanical Department) present their bachelor thesis topics.
My bachelor thesis is about topology optimization of Formula Student upright, therefore during my presentation I explained:
- the topology optimization itself and its importance in industry with examples
- OptiStruct optimization types
- the advantage of OptiStruct against other softwares of this type
- optimization preprocessing process
- manufacturing constraints in OptiStruct
- lattice optimization presence in the newest HyperWorks version
